Our Basic Pistol and Personal Safety (PPS) class is the foundation of our training. This class is designed to teach you everything you need to know to properly and safely own and operate a firearm. The class qualifies for application for Idaho’s “Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit, as well as Oregon’s non-resident CCP. This class covers Firearms Safety, Fundamentals of Good Marksmanship, Mental Preparation, Legal Aspects, Use of Force, Cleaning and Maintenance, safe storage of a firearm and more. This is a very popular class as we have given this class to well over 1000 people. As with all of our training, it’s 100% guaranteed! If you don’t get what you’re paying for, don’t pay for it!
We have more than 30 of the most popular handguns for our students use. We prefer Glock pistols, but have many handguns in numerous brands, sizes and most calibers. we have Ruger, Sig, Walther, Taurus, Browning and more. For calibers we have .22, .380, 9mm, .40 SW, .45, .38 and .357. We also have many semi-automatic AR style rifles, bolt action rifles and shotguns. We want all of our students, particularly those new to firearms, to end their training day knowing exactly what make, model and caliber fits them best. You won’t find many other places in the valley that go to this extent in their training. The bonus is this is included and free! We never charge our students for the use of one of our firearms. Ammunition does cost extra if we provide it. You are also welcome to bring your own firearm and ammunition if you like.
